The visit of Melaverde’s editorial staff with Edoardo Raspelli and the Canale 5 crew in April 2013 will go down in the annals for the rain that continued to rage throughout March!

It kept raining and we couldn’t get into the fields because there was too much mud, it was cold and there was no sign of improvement. Even the baulatura for the asparagus fields intended for white asparagus production, we had only managed to do it two months later than usual.

With no hope that the weather conditions would change, we still managed to set up a broadcast, despite having only a few kilos of asparagus available.
A few ‘ciacoea’ (chitchat) and our kitchen transformed into a film set for the occasion…
